Mashburn, III, 79, of Albany, GA who died Monday, June 28, 2010 at his residence will be conducted, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Morningside Cemetery, Rochelle, GA. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.
A native of Fitzgerald, GA Mr. Mashburn had resided in Albany for the past fifty three years, moving from Rochelle, GA. He was a retired Policeman with the Albany Police Department with thirty two years of service, a member of F.O.P., an Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Rochelle United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Schofill Mashburn of Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Connie Elizabeth and Daryl McGirt of Albany, GA, two sons, Charles (Chuck) Edward Mashburn of Warner Robins, GA and James W. Mashburn, IV and his wife, Ameriza of Cleveland, Ohio, nine grandchildren, James Brion Mashburn, Nikki Brand, Charles Chance Mashburn, Coy Miles Mashburn, Jason Lee Mashburn, James W. Mashburn, V, Brie Elizabeth Mashburn, Asia Desiree Mashburn and James Daryl McGirt, Jr., five great-grandchildren, James Brion Mashburn, Jr., Kaden Alexander Mashburn, Trinity Mashburn, Makayla Mashburn and Jason Don Mashburn.
The family will receive friends 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM Wednesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
