| Obituary: | The funeral service of Ellen Tan Ramos, 52, of Leesburg, GA who died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. A native of Cavite City, Philippines, Ms. Ramos has resided in Georgia since 1981 moving from the Philippines. She was a seamstress for Tony the Tailor for nineteen years, loved to cook, adored her granddaughter, loved to travel, was a selfless person and always had a positive outlook. Survivors include, a daughter, Heidi Ramos (Lee) of Austin, TX, two sons, Reggie Ramos, of Atlanta, GA, Roger Ramos of Savannah, GA, her mother, Lydia Tan, five brothers, Sammy Tan of the Philippines, June Tan, Dennis Tan, Richard Tan and Edward Tan, a sister, Joan Tan all of California, a granddaughter, Victoria Theresa Ramos Jackson of Austin, TX, and several nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
