| Obituary: | Evelyn Gresham, 73, of Orange Park, FL formerly of Albany, GA, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at her daughter’s residence. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Harrell and Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. A native of Houston County, AL, Mrs. Gresham had resided in Orange Park, FL since 2005, moving from Albany, GA. She was a retired Office Corrdinator at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Gresham was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Howard Gresham and her parents, Chester Lee Hughes and Minnie Branton Hughes, her brothers, Earl and Bill Hughes, and her sisters, Ruth Weed and Dot Hughes. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Darlene and Mack Strickland of Orange Park, FL, a son and his wife, Bobby and Susan Gresham of Spotsylvania, VA, a grandson and his wife, Eric and Tricia of Middleburg, FL, two great-granddaughters, Ilyana and Rebecca Strickland, sister, Judy Roughton of Columbus, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
