The funeral service of Hilda Fowler Pinson, 95, of Albany, GA who died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will be Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Worth County, Mrs. Pinson grew up in Petoria and had resided in Albany most of her life. She was employed with Bob’s Candies and retired from Sun Lite Cleaners after thirty five years. Mrs. Pinson was preceded in death by her husband, Dara Harwell Pinson and was a member of Westview Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Pinson and his wife, Janice of Leesburg, GA and Weyman Pinson and his wife, Diane of Albany, GA, a daughter, Ann Rogers and her husband, Michael of Panama City, FL, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the residence of Hal and Donna Pinson, 122 Highland Court, Leesburg, GA 31763. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until funeral time at Mathews Funeral Home.
