Date of Birth: | July 10, 1963 | | Date of Death: | May 24, 2010 | | Obituary: | The funeral service of Terry Joe Davis, 46, of Albany, GA., who died Monday May 24, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Friday May 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Lyons will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Davis had resided in Albany most all of his life. He had served in the US Army, was formerly employed with Flint River Textiles and was employed at Billy Joe’s Pool Room. He attended Lakeside Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Brandy Nash, Atlanta, GA, a son, T.J. Davis, Lee Co., GA, his parents, Billy Joe and Christine Joyce Bence Davis, Albany, GA, a brother, Tony R. Davis, Albany, GA, two sisters, Wanda Kimsey (Bo) and Sherry Askew, (Larry) both of Albany, GA and three grandchildren, Alexander Lee Davis, Ashton Tyler Faircloth, Isiah Daniel Nash and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
