| Obituary: | Horace W. Musgrove, Jr., 55, of 3700 Quail Hollow Road, Albany, GA died May 24, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Travelers Rest Baptist Church, in Newton, GA. Rev. Harold Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Albany, Horace grew up in Baker County and graduated from Deerfield School in 1972 and attended Albany Junior College. Horace lived in Newton for forty five years before moving to Albany ten years ago. He was baptized at Newton Baptist Church and attended Travelers Rest Baptist Church. Horace was self-employed and was the former owner of Sundown Liquor Store in Newton and was a member of Stonebridge Golf and Country Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Musgrove, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Lois Musgrove of Americus, GA, three daughters, Dana Musgrove Alewine and her fiancée, Brian Shattles and Lauren Musgrove Allen and her husband, Lee all of Leesburg, GA and Kristen Musgrove Chapman and her husband, Jake of Albany, GA, two sons, Daniel Allen and his wife, Sam of Americus, GA and Lucas Allen and his wife, Lindsey of Albany, GA, two brothers, Terry Musgrove and David Musgrove both of Panama City, FL, nine grandchildren, Logan Driggers, Riley Alewine, Baileyl Allen, Laura Leigh Allen, Emma Allen, Jacob Chapman, Bryce Chapman, Walker Allen, Hayden Allen and a special family friend, Tommy Gran.
