| Obituary: | The Memorial service for Charles J. Ott, Sr., 79, of Albany, GA, who died Saturday, May 22, 2010 will be conducted Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Walter Flint will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the memorial service. A native of Montgomery, AL, Mr. Ott had resided in Albany, GA for the past fifty nine years, moving from Savannah, GA. He was a retired Sales Representative with Bowman Distribution Company and was an Army Air Corps Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ott was of the Presbyterian faith and was a charter member of Mended Hearts Inc. Sowega Chapter165. Survivors include his wife, Roselee Ott of Albany, GA, two sons, Charles Ott, Jr. (Susan) of Atlanta, GA and Robert Ott (Merita) of Albany, GA, a daughter, Alice Surface (Frank) of Albany, GA, a sister, Delcy Jaunzemis (John) of South Port, NC, three grandchildren, Byron Ott, Brad Ott (Chrissy) and April McLeod, two great-grandchildren, Brandon Ott and Everleigh Carroll.
