A native of Quincy, FL, Mrs. Newton had resided in Albany, GA since 2004, moving from Columbus, GA. She was retired from West Point Pepperell Manufacturing Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Newton was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Newton, Jr. Survivors include her three daughters, Betty Rickman and her husband, Wilbur of Albany, GA, Ina Jean Smith and her husband Sanford T.
