| Obituary: | The graveside funeral service of Charles Scriven Jones, 84, of Albany, GA., who died Friday June 13, 2008 will be conducted Sunday June 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooks Co., GA. Pastor Madelin Pope will officiate. A native of Brooks Co., GA., Mr. Jones had resided in Albany for the past twenty five years moving from Barwick, GA. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia, a retired auditor with FDIC and a member of Porterfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include cousins, Joyce Detherage Chastain and Ernestine Lancaster both of Albany, GA., Frances Prince, Damascus, GA. and a number of nieces and nephews.
