| Obituary: | The memorial service for Marilyn Satterfield Ferguson, 69, of Albany, who died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her residence, will be conducted Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 4:00 P.M., with visitation to be held one hour prior to the service at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
A native of Montezuma, GA, Mrs. Ferguson had lived in Albany since 1973, moving from Cairo, GA. She was a procurement officer with Darton College for twenty seven years and was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Montezuma, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Ouida Satterfield. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, John Ed Ferguson of Albany, two daughters, Michelle Chapman Daniels, of Leesburg and Melanie Chapman Lott, and her husband, Tracy, of Tifton, GA and four grandchildren, Clint Daniels, Bronson Lott, Donovan Lott and Nicole Givens.
The family will be at their residence at 2806 Raybun Ct, Albany, GA 31721 following the service.
