The funeral services of Waver Tolar Curtis, 87, of Albany, GA who died Saturday May 1, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Monday May 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Joey Cannon will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Cedar Springs, GA, Mrs. Curtis had resided in Albany since 1972 moving from Dublin, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Raleigh White Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edwin Curtis, Albany, GA, three sons, Wayne Ivey ( Holly ), Coweta, OK, Jimmy York, Lawrenceville, GA, Joe York (Karen ), Suwanee, GA, two daughters, Carol Ayers ( Fred ) and Donna Brannen all of Albany, GA, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
